The Michigan State University College of Engineering, corporate scholarship sponsors and alumni recognized 160 students for their academic and participation achievements during this year’s Dean’s Showcase of Stars. More than $140,000 in scholarships were presented to students at the annual event.

Michigan State University’s College of Engineering and its corporate partners recognized more than 160 students Tuesday, Feb. 20 for their academic achievements and participation in college activities and programming.

The Michigan State University College of Engineering awarded $115,000 in scholarships during the 2023 Dean’s Showcase of Stars on March 21. This year’s event included 180 students and corporate guests. It was hosted in the MSUFCU Club on the fourth floor of Spartan Stadium.

Liz Burbatt has been named interim director of the Diversity Programs Office (DPO) and will work with Associate Dean Tamara Bush and Assistant Dean Kyle Foster in the areas of diversity and inclusion in the Michigan State University College of Engineering.
